The VS'491 CD AHS Is a VIK-SANDVIK vessels design, intently designed constructed to meet the fast growing demand for very large capacity Offshore Service Vessels together with multifunctional capabilities, vessels which simultaneously needs to fulfill anticipated demands for environmental friendly operations. Consequently, these new generation vessels are contracted in accordance to the very latest adequate standards hence the vsl's are complying to the present offshore oil industry requirements and codes, and further prepared to meet future low emission requirements by preparation for SCR. A hybrid diesel/electric propulsion solution provides for a very flexible power management system which together with a optimal hull design will give the vessels a advantageous energy efficient/low emission profile in the market. The mospower vessels is of clean design and comfort class which make the vessels environmental friendly for both the surroundings and likewise a pleasant working-platform for all personnel onboard.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The VS 491 CD AHTS vessels are the designed and built for word-wide unlimited operations offshore, providing service like:
>The very high power capacities make the vessels capable of performing deep-water anchor handing/towing operation.
>The vessels goods manoeuvrability gives advantage to carry out a wide range of service/assistance to offshore platform and /or other associated installations.
>Considerable dry bulk, liquid and deck cargo capacities gives the vessels good flexibility and capacities as of large PSV's.
>The vessels is prepared for (optional);3000t A-Frame, travelling gantry crane and a large offshore crane which make the vsl's prepared to undertake future subsea construction worth as well as ROV tasks.
